Air Conditioning Efficiency Tip #1 From Your Orange County Comfort Specialists
Your A/C Unit Needs to Breathe!
Summer is right around the corner so we decided to post a series of quick tips to help make sure your air conditioner is there for you when you need it the most.
It’s spring time, and many of us have been planting beautiful flowers and shrubs around our yards, but be careful not to plant too close to your A/C unit. You’re air conditioner needs to breathe. Overgrown shrubs crowding your condenser, as seen in the picture above, will not only effect the units efficiency (causing it to not cool as well) but it will also lead to costly repairs in the future.
Make sure your A/C unit has AT LEAST four to six inches of clearance around the entire perimeter to keep it cooling your home effectively and efficiently.
